In reply to <a href="https://tonyconniff.com/can-your-song-work-with-three-sections-before-the-chorus/#comment-7404">Charity James</a>.

Thanks, Charity!
Good song and production. I see why you brought it up in this context.
I'd say that it's a Verse/Chorus song with a two-part Chorus. At first In thought the second section was a Pre-Chorus, but as the song developed it seemed clear that it felt like a Chorus.
The next part, what I call the second part of the Chorus, is where it gets a little unusual... with the dynamics coming down in a poignant way instead of energetically peaking. But it works!
The little one-line tag at the end of the Verse is interesting too... and there's some good lyrics, good vocal... Thanks for the tip!

Great observations, Tony. Would love to hear you dissect Blake Shelton’s hit ‘I Lived It.’ It seems like it has a chorus and then after-chorus. I’d love to hear your take on what you’d consider the chorus, pre-chorus, after-chorus etc.
Thx again!
