Honestly, I was faking it a bit on that chord - it was the only one I didn&#039;t feel confident about. For me, it&#039;s not a question of the 7th or not - I think adding the 7th is fine - but whether F#minor is the best chord for that spot, period. There&#039;s a G in the melody... And it&#039;s also the only chord not in the key of Gmajor.
Anyway, I&#039;ll try F#minor7 for now, and report back with any further ideas.
