					<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ve always liked Steely Dan but didn&#039;t pay attention to why. Reading this was an aha moment. First, the cynical element &#038; second the conversational element (over storytelling).  Overall effect of witty late night conversations in some smoky joint, sometimes overheard... set to music. The smoothness laced with too much darkness to go down as easy listening.  More like smoothness of a knife.
