Songwriting Workshop

Each week you receive a writing prompt (so you can write something new every week) which we review at the beginning of the next session. You also have the opportunity to bring in several songs of your own choosing, new or old, for the group to listen to and critique.

These are small groups; usually 6-7 songwriters. Since songwriting of any kind feels intimate to the songwriter, I give special attention to creating a space that’s safe for anything a writer brings in, but also allows for the honest and constructive suggestions that can help you make a song better. Writing is hard enough without being surrounded by negative energy (there’s enough of that out there already!).
